Today, Ekaterinburg hosted the first seminar on the upcoming SportAccord World Sport and Business Summit 2021, which will be held in Russia from 7-12 November.
The seminar was attended by the heads of 40 regional sports federations and organizations, which will be participants of the SportAccord Sports Festival powered by UTS.
The participants were welcomed by Minister of Physical Culture and Sports of the Sverdlovsk Region, Leonid Rapoport, and SportAccord Business Development Manager, Malcolm Hardman.
“In November of this year, a very important event will take place on the territory of the city of Ekaterinburg. It is important both from the point of view of the development of communications, and for obtaining new knowledge. Traditionally, the SportAccord program includes a Sports Festival. And today, at a meeting with the heads of regional sports federations, we received the necessary information to successfully present the projects that will be organized within the framework of the Festival,” Leonid Rapoport said.
The main goal of the seminar is to tell about the key opportunities of the Summit and the Festival, which can help the sports society to become closer and find new approaches in the development of sports in the country and the world.
