Director Global Policy and Strategic Relations for Women’s Football

Sarah Gregorius is the Director of Global Policy and Strategic Relations for Women’s Football at FIFPRO, a role she has held since 2021, after first joining the organisation in September 2019. FIFPRO is the global union for professional football players. In her role, Sarah guides the organisation’s policy and strategic development in women’s football, overseeing efforts to improve and accelerate the professional women’s football industry and the working conditions for players in their club and national team environments.  

Sarah played professional and international football for a decade before joining FIFPRO. In this time, she played 100 matches for the New Zealand Women’s National Team, participating in three FIFA World Cups (2011, 2015, 2019) and two Olympic Games (2012, 2016). She played professional in Germany, England, and Japan. She was part of the Liverpool team that won the FA Women’s Super League in 2013.
