The Media Kit has been sent to registered media.

If you are a registered media and you did not receive the Media Kit, please send us an email at media@sportaccord.sport and we will send it.

Media outlets and journalists can apply for complimentary accreditation. For consideration, a journalist must meet the following credentials:

  • Register an application for media accreditation via the SportAccord website using the following link: https://register.event-works.com/sportaccord/birmingham2024/e/ce/
  • Be a current working journalist or a recognised member of the press working for a national or international media outlet assigned for the SportAccord event, or
  • Freelance photographer, writer or internet reporter with a visible track record. The application must also be supported with an assignment letter on company letterhead; and provide recent news stories or links to content. Please note that submission of documents or news links is not a guarantee of media credential approval.

Successful applicants will receive an email confirmation and asked to complete their full registration at this time.

LAST-MINUTE APPLICATIONS FOR MEDIA ACCREDITATION

If journalists arrive at SportAccord without a media credential, they will be asked to apply for media accreditation via the SportAccord website (www.sportaccord.com). If the application is successful, journalists will receive an email, asking them to complete full registration details online, and then proceed to the self-check-in kiosk to print their accreditation badge.

Please note, it is highly recommended, journalists apply for media accreditation BEFORE SportAccord begins (7th April 2024). Peak times/days may result in delays for on-the-spot media accreditation applications.

Registration and media application accreditation, applies to all media, journalists, photographers and broadcasting crews.

JOURNALISTS REQUIRING A UK VISA

Please note, the deadline for journalists requiring a UK visa to support their media application has now passed and can no longer be facilitated.

All media applications are considered on a case-by-case basis.
