Alban Dechelotte

Alban Dechelotte is the CEO of G2 Esports, and a member of the IOC Esports Commission. Prior to G2 Esports, Alban led the commercial agenda for Riot Games in EMEA and the Global Gaming and Esports agenda at the Coca-Cola Company. During his 5-year tenure at the Atlanta based company, he led award winning campaigns such as the 2013 launch of the PS4 with Coca-Cola Zero, the 2014 partnership with Ubisoft’s Just Dance, to promote active healthy living, the 2014 rule-breaking global partnership with Riot Games, and Coca-Cola’s 2017 signing of the first virtual athlete, Alex Hunter, from the EA Sports FIFA franchise. Prior to Coca-Cola, Alban spent 10 years on the agency side at Havas Sports & Entertainment with clients such as Adidas, Hyundai & Kia, Sparkasse, Lacoste, Europcar, Unilever, and Louis Vuitton. Through his professional career Alban has accumulated extensive experience developing partnerships in the United States, China, Egypt, Germany, and France. Alban studied international business, sports and marketing in France at the ESSEC Business School and in Germany at Fachhochschule Dortmund. Alban is a passionate player of League of Legends, a former underage international rugby player and sources inspiration from street art and scuba diving.
