Oleg Matytsin, Minister of Sport of the Russian Federation and SportAccord 2022 Summit Speaker, visited Ekaterinburg on the threshold of many major international events coming to the sport loving city. Together with the Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region, Evgeny Kuivashev, he discussed preparations for the SportAccord World Sport & Business Summit and the FISU World University Games 2023.
As the result of the meeting the Agreement between the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation and the Government of Sverdlovsk region on cooperation and interaction in the field of physical culture and sports was signed. The document is aimed at joint work on the implementation of the federal project “Sport – the Norm of Life”.
Minister Matytsin and Governor Kuivashev both met with the Presidential envoy to the Ural Federal District, Vladimir Yakushev.
