Morning activities will start at 06:30 and run for an hour until 07:30. We suggest that you arrive at 06.15 to start a bit of stretching and warming up. Bring your sport shoes, sport kit and water bottles - We look forward to seeing you bright and early!

Do you want to start your day energetic and have fun?? Join the ZUMBA morning workout! It’s the perfect class for everybody and every body!

You will move your hips in every direction, laugh while doing so and work up a great sweat. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you'll see why Zumba® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. It is a total workout, combining all elements of fun & fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance, flexibility and moves on upbeat music!  It’s a great way to burn some calories and boost your energy!

Meet your instructor Jesus Cruz.  He is a trainer Certified Zumba® Instructors in Asia, originally from Mexico.  Jesus feels that every class feels like you are having fun and working out the same time.  He has taught Zumba® for over 5 years in California and New Jersey in the USA.  He further his training and became certified to teach courses such as Zuma Gold, Zumba Toning, Zumba Step and Strong by Zumba. His dedication to share Latin Culture to those interested and his passion for dancing has made Zumba® a fun world for him.  Beside Zumba, Jesus dances Salsa and other social dances.  In 2015 Jesus and Kristen Nowakoski became the amateur World Salsa Champions at the World Salsa Summit competition in Orlando Florida.

According to scientific researches Tai Chi has many benefits, for example: improve your blood circulation, prevent fall in elders, reduce joints pain, lower blood pressure and reduce chronic pain. This spine therapy session will help you release the stiffness of your back muscles and create more mobility for your spine.  Tai Chi is an exercise that is based on Yin and Yang theory originated from Taoist philosophy.  The goal for practicing Tai Chi is to balance the state of mind and body.

Join this wonderful Tai Chi session!  All levels are welcome. 

Harmony Healer (Pang) works as a motion therapist for professional athletes.  He applied Tai Chi and Qigong 5 elements for elderly programme and taught at the Thai Health organization for 8 months.  He demonstrated Tai Chi and Qigong for health on television programmes and training wellness programmes for many organisations to create awareness for Tai Chi and Qigong practitioners in Thailand.

The popular Good Morning Muaythai morning sessions have been a regular instalment of the convention for the past 7 years.  It all started in Dubai in 2010 and since then every year, the muaythai morning workout has become more and more popular with many delegates returning annually to collect the souvenir t-shirts given out at each edition.  The 2018 edition brings us to the motherland of the sport for the mother of all Good Morning Muaythai’s!!!

Former muaythai world champion and GAISF Vice President, the energetic and charismatic Stephan Fox whom has been part of it all since 2010 stated “An unforgettable edition is awaiting all participants in Bangkok where ancient traditions and intense training will come to a climax”.

The IFMA President Dr. Sakchye Tapsuwan stated “The Kingdom of Thailand is welcoming all delegates.  Thailand’s national sport muaythai has over 1,000 years of history, and the breathtaking session will blend cardio and strength training together with an authentic cultural experience, as we will have the masters and spiritual leaders of the martial art on site in full force”.

For all enthusiasts who want to kick-start the day energised and ready to rumble, the classes will be designed for all ages and levels of fitness.  So, if you’re looking to challenge yourself while pushing your limits or simply want a fun morning workout filled with culture and tradition, then ‘Good Morning Bangkok’ is a MUST!!!

Sepak Takraw is a sport native to Southeast Asia, also refers to as kick volleyball.  It differs from the similar sport of Footvolley in its use of a rattan ball and only allowing players to use their feet, knee, chest and head to touch the ball.  It is a popular sport in Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.

Sepak is the Malay word for kick and takraw is the Thai word for a woven ball; therefore, sepak takraw quite literally means to kick ball.  The choosing of this name for the sport was essentially a compromise between Malaysia and Thailand, the two powerhouse countries of the sport. International play is now governed by ISTAF, the International sepak takraw Federation.  Major competitions for the sport such as the ISTAF SuperSeries, the ISTAF World Cup and the King's Cup World Championships are held every year.  Sepak takraw is now a regular sport event in the Asian Games and the Southeast Asian Games

YOGA - Friday, 20 April 2018 - 06:30-07:30 - Yoga Fly Room, Fitness Centre on 26th Floor - Centara Grand Hotel

After a long week of meetings and networking events this Flow Yoga class is the perfect workout to feel relaxed and your muscle will be stretched and softened to the fullest at the same time.  This session will emphasis on breath, movement, sun salutations, standing poses, twists, and forward bends with the focus set by the teacher.   Get more stability and feel the energy flow of each yoga pose to facilitate a greater sense of joy and empowerment!  It is a total body and mind workout.

No specific level is required, everyone can join!

Your instructor, Waew was a lawyer who has successfully shed 20 kilogrammes of her weight and improved her health through yoga practice.  She gave up the security of permanent income and high-profile job to become a fulltime yoga instructor and share the benefits she gained from her practice in restorative yoga style such as Yin Yoga, Gentle Yoga and Yoga for seniors.  Waew completed Yin Yoga with certifications from 3 institutes: Yin Yoga in Asia, With Yin Yoga and YinSpire. Currently she dedicates her practice and continues her study in Yin Yoga with Victor Chang who is the founder of Yin Yoga in Asia, Nutrition and Rehabilitation by Manual Therapy and teaches at Yoga Elements.
