The purpose of the Association of Global Event Suppliers is to build up awareness for industry-specific aspects and to promote the interests of its members in the international event marketplace.

AGES shall become a cohesive and powerful voice and offer appropriate, standardized tools to its members as well as to relevant governmental bodies and organizers of large events.

The objective is to become a professional and business-oriented association which offers to share and manage valuable information related to the temporary infrastructure industry in order to streamline business for buyers and sellers.

A young industry
AGES will facilitate knowledge transfer, the building of reputations, the acknowledgement of the temporary infrastructure industry, and help increase the business potential for this industry in general.

Developing a roadmap
AGES wants to develop a roadmap together with governmental bodies and key stakeholders to create procedures, standards and other tools to facilitate interaction and business with event suppliers, and through this contribute to lowering the burden on future organizers.

The AISTS (International Academy of Sports Science and Technology), is committed to professionalising sports management through three core activity areas: continuing education, applied research and providing an engaging platform for industry connections.

Founded as a not-for-profit organisation in 2000, AISTS’s Founding Members - the International Olympic Committee, the EPFL, the University of Lausanne, the University of Geneva, IMD Business School, Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, the City of Lausanne and the Canton of Vaud - all recognise the importance of meeting the evolving knowledge needs of today’s sports managers.

Through its education services, the AISTS prepares tomorrow’s international sports managers with the Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Sports Administration held each year in Lausanne; provides professional development opportunities to international sport organisations; and onsite training for major event organisers.

The AISTS’s applied research arm conducts independent and commissioned projects, in addition to helping sports organisations and federations navigate an increasingly complex sport landscape through advisory services. The AISTS focus lie in four key competency areas, namely: sport events, sport business, sport technology and innovation, and sustainability in sport.

Beijing Olympic City Development Association

Beijing Olympic City Development Association (BODA) was set up on August 6, 2009. The scope of operation of BODA: to mobilize social forces to carry forward the Olympic spirit and boost the development of Olympic movement in the city; to support the development of public welfare work relating to Olympic culture, education, sports, youth, people with disabilities and volunteer service, etc., to conduct sport related exchanges and cooperation with relevant international organizations.

Because we have a great sporting future ahead. We have magnificent venues such as the new Duna Arena Aquatics Centre built in a record time. And we are pressing on with the development of Budapest’s city infrastructure as we create a modern and interconnected sort city at the heart of one of Europe’s most stunning natural urban environments. Just next year Budapest will welcome five world championships in 2019.

Our ambitions do not rest here. We will bid to bring the IAAF World Championships to Budapest in 2023, to be hosted in our brand new athletics venue, planned for excellence and performance.

Canadian Sport Tourism Alliance

The Canadian Sport Tourism Alliance is a non-governmental, member-based, capacity building organization that promotes sport tourism as a grassroots economic development initiative at the community level. The CSTA services over 500 members across Canada, including 150 municipalities, 300 national and provincial sport, multi-sport and major games organizations and a variety of other sport and tourism industry partners. Sport tourism is the fastest growing segment of the tourism industry in Canada with approximately $6.5 billion in annual spending by domestic and international visitors.

Chungcheongbuk-do Province is located in the center of the Republic of Korea and is a strategic transportation hub. The Province is the home to the largest scale "National Training Center" where 1,150 athletes representing 35 events can train. The Province successfully hosted international sport/martial art mega events such as World Rowing Championships in 2013 and World Martial Arts Masterships in 2016.

In particular, Chungcheongbuk-do Province is gaining attention as a center for martial art. The Province has international organizations related to martial art such as International Center of Martial Art (UNESCO-ICM), World Martial Arts Union (WoMAU), and World Martial Arts Mastership Committee (WMC). Especially, WMC is the governing body of World Martial Arts Masterships, which was held in Cheongju City, Chungcheongbuk-do Province in 2016, expanding traditional martial arts throughout the world. Also, 2019 World Martial Arts Masterships, approved by the Korean government as an international event, will be held in Chungju City, Chungcheongbuk-do Province.

A successful hosting of the event leads to the expectation that Chungcheongbuk-do Province will position itself as a hub for world martial art and sport. Likewise, Chungcheongbuk-do Province will endeavor to develop martial art and sport with great passion around the world.

The International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES) is an independent study centre located in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. It was created in 1995 as a joint venture between the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), the University of Neuchatel, the City and State of Neuchatel.

Using a multi-disciplinary approach CIES provides research, top-level education and consulting services to the sports world with the aim of overcoming the complexities of sport in today's society and improving how it is governed and managed across all sports.

City of Berlin

Berlin is Germany’s political capital and one of the world’s leading sports metropolises. Thanks to its high-quality sporting venues, such as the Olympiastadion Berlin or the Max-Schmeling-Halle and the Velodrom, Berlin hosts sports highlights of international importance again and again. In the last few years for example the European Swimming Championships 2014, the UEFA Men’s and Women’s Champions League finals 2015, the European Maccabi Games 2015 as well as the International German Gymnastics Festival 2017. In the next few years, Berlin will again be the site of high-caliber events. One particular highlight will be the European Athletics Championships 2018.

City of Lausanne

Lausanne and the Canton de Vaud, together the Olympic Capital, are the home of international sport.

Today, more than 1,500 people working in the sports industry call the Olympic Capital their home. Together, the sports organization's based in the region, which include 56 international sports federations, combine to provide a unique community which offers unrivalled knowledge sharing and opportunities for development.

The Olympic Capital is also home to a variety of international sports events and conferences every year, such as Athletissima (part of the IAAF's Diamond League series), a stage of the FIBA 3X3 Basketball World Tour, the WADA Anti-Doping Symposium and SportAccord’s IF Forum. Next year, the Olympic Capital will host the 2019 ITU Triathlon Grand Final and in 2020, will become the proud host of the 3rd Winter Youth Olympic Games.

The Department’s Sports Economy team helps UK companies identify and pursue the substantial export opportunities around global sporting events. The same umbrella of Dubaisc, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Creative Sports Award (MBRCSA) is also affiliated to the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives. It reflects the thoughts and philosophy of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai to honor Individuals, Teams and Organizations with significant contributions in the field of sports not only in Dubai, Arab countries but worldwide.

FAI - World Air Sports Federation

Founded in 1905, FAI - The World Air Sports Federation – is an IOC recognised, non-governmental and non-profit-making organisation that furthers aeronautical and astronautical activities around the world, ratifies records and coordinates international air sports competitions ranging from parachuting contests to fast-paced drone races. Its more than 100 member countries include numerous Asian nations. Air sports are booming in this region of the world, where you can enjoy some of the biggest events of 2018. The first FAI World Drone Racing Championships will take flight in Shenzhen, China, while The Red Bull Air Race, an FAI World Championship that combines speed, precision and skill and is followed by millions of fans, is touching down in Japan. Paragliding is also on the Asian Games programme for the first time, while the Federation is busy organising its flagship event – the multi-sport FAI World Air Games – due to take place in Turkey in 2020.

The Federal Office of Sport FOSPO in Magglingen promotes sport and physical exercise in Switzerland and its positive, useful and necessary role in society. It is a centre for services, education and training for Swiss sport and a sport scientific centre of excellence. Furthermore it establishes optimum conditions for sports facilities of national importance. Our key objective for participating at SportAccord Convention is the promotion of Switzerland, which has a long tradition of, and considerable experience in, hosting major regular and one-off national and international sporting events in Switzerland.

FIAS - International Sambo Federation

International SAMBO Federation (FIAS) is a non-governmental organization and the only recognized international body being in charge of SAMBO development in the world. Nowadays, 88 national SAMBO federations are affiliated to the FIAS membership and 120 countries are developing SAMBO around the world.
SAMBO is included into the program of the Asian, European and Central American Games. FIAS annually conducts numerous international events at all the continents, including the world championships, continental championships and the President’s Cups.
FIAS is an active member of GAISF, AIMS, FISU, AIPS, Peace and Sport and fully complies with the WADA code and regulation.

FIBA – International Basketball Federation

FIBA (fiba.basketball) - the world governing body for basketball - is an independent association formed by 213 National Basketball Federations throughout the world. It is recognised as the sole competent authority in basketball by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

FISU - International Federation of University Sports

Since it’s founding in 1949, the International University Sports Federation (FISU) has been the world’s uniting force for university sport.

As the international federation of university sport, FISU represents 170 million students across 40,000 universities.

Embracing the motto “Today’s Stars, Tomorrow’s Leaders,” FISU’s flagship events are the World University Championships, University World Cups, and the Summer and Winter Universiades. The latter two are two-week events that happen biennially that draw thousands of student-athletes.

“Taipei did it,” Taipei City Mayor Wen-je Ko, said after hosting the 2017 Summer Universiade. “The world got to see us as we are.”

FITEQ - Fédération Internationale de Teqball

The International Federation of Teqball - FITEQ - based in Switzerland, has been established to unite the international Teqball community, a sport incorporating a highly engineered multiple award-winning Teqball table over which football is played. The FITEQ’s objective is to promote the development of Teqball globally, assisting in establishing national federations and to unify the rules of Teqball. The Federation will organise, promote and support international Teqball events and competitions including Teqball World Championships as well as establishing and maintaining world ranking statistics.

GAISF - Global Association of International Sports Federations

GAISF is composed of International Sports Federations and other international sport and event related organizations. GAISF members are divided into five groups: ASOIF and AIOWF for those on the Olympic Summer and Winter Program, ARISF for IFs that are recognized by the IOC, AIMS for IFs that are not yet in any of the other groupings. The fifth group brings together all associated members which are sport-related organizations that organize events or support sport in various capacities.

GAISF’s vision is to present a united voice of sport in support of the Olympic ideals and of the Olympic movement and promote sport at every level and in every corner of the world, from grassroots to elite, wherever its members have national organizations and events.

IFMA - International Federation of Muaythai Amateur

Muaythai is a martial art originating from Thailand. Practitioners execute strikes using 8 points of contact: fists, shins, knees and elbows.

IFMP - International Federation of Match Poker

The International Federation of Match Poker (IFMP) was formed in 2009 with 7 founding members and has grown to over 60 national federations across 6 continents. IFMP became an official signatory to the WADA code in 2017 and has also been recognised as an Observer Member of GAISF. IFMP is dedicated to the growth and development of Match Poker as a mind sport and game of skill worldwide. With the launch of the Match Indian Poker League (MIPL) as the pioneer, we are working towards many more national pro leagues to help grow our sport globally. Match Poker is played completely digitally, on mobile devices, and free of conventional cards or chips. We have tied up with the University of Alberta’s Computer Poker Research Group and encourage our athletes to test their skills against the world’s leading AI poker player. Our sport is all about data and analysis, ensuring luck is not a deciding factor in crowning our Champions.

International Ice Dragon Boat Federation

International Ice Dragon Boat Federation (IIDBF) is dedicated to the spread and development of ice dragon boat sport worldwide. IIDBF has published constitutions, articles, racing rules and regulations for international ice dragon boat tournaments and national contest. Ice dragon boat sport is innovated based on the water dragon boat sport maintaining its original skills and competitiveness. However, ice dragon boat sport is also the extension of water dragon boat sport overcoming its restriction of location and season. International Jump Rope Union (IJRU)

The International Jump Rope Union (IJRU) is the unified Jump Rope/ Rope Skipping federation for the global sport. IJRU joins - Fédération Internationale de Saut à la Corde (FISAC-IRSF) and World Jump Rope Federation (WJRF). Our Objectives are to;

● Promote, grow and encourage development of Jump Rope/Rope Skipping,

International Mixed Martial Arts Federation

The International MMA Federation is the global governing body for the sport of MMA, representing stakeholders across 70 nations through its family of non-profit, democratic federations. Founded from within the MMA community for the MMA community, the IMMAF works to further the development and regulation of MMA from the grass roots to elite level, and to organize elite, Amateur MMA Championships worldwide. IMMAF’s goal is for MMA to attain official sport recognition and ultimately be accepted into the Olympics.

The main aim of International Roll Ball Federation is to promote this game in all countries of the world and to make this game popular among the school and college students. This will help the students/ players to interact & exchange their cultural values and view with others. It has always been our constant endeavor to create a sense of unity and brotherhood between the players all across the globe.
It is certainly not an easy task to introduce a New Game in to the main flow of the sports world. What encourages us to promote Roll Ball is the Joy of the players playing this game.

International Zurkhaneh Sports And Koshti Pahlavani Federation

The International Zurkhaneh Sport and Koshti Pahlevani Federation (IZSF) was established on 2004 to promote Zurkhaneh and Pahlavani sports on a global level. The IZSF aims to regulate and standardize rules for Koshti Pahlevani and organize international festivals and competitions. In 2010 it started to regulate and organize para-zourkhaneh festivals for disabled athletes. 85 countries are currently members of the IZSF in 5 continents.
Zurkhaneh sports is a school of thought and tradition, to promote ethics and certain attitude.

IPF - International Powerlifting Federation

The IPF was founded 1973 in the USA.
Since 1976 the IPF is a full member of GAIFS, IWGA, AIMS, as well as a provisional member of FISU.
IPF is a founding member of the World Games and participated on all editions of the Games.
Currently the IPF has 112 full member federations on all continents.
Our main event are the IPF Classic World Championships with +800 athletes.

Since 2008 the IPF has two strong partners with ELEIKO SE from Sweden and SBD Apparel from UK.
With those two partners the IPF was able to start working in a professional way.

ISF - International School Sport Federation

The ISF is the world governing body for School Sport.

It organises World Schools Championships in more than 20 sports and two multi-sport events: the Schools Summer Games (Gymnasiade) and the Schools Winter Games.
ISF events gather, every year, around 10000 students (aged 13 to 18) from all over the world.

The International School Sport Federation aims, through its events and activities, to promote education through sport, mutual understanding, peace and tolerance and to contribute to the physical, social and intellectual development of youngsters.

ISTAF - International Sepaktakraw Federation

In 1990, Sepaktakraw was included at the Asian Games in Beijing. Since then, Sepaktakraw has grown not only as a sport but one with high levels of commercial and entertainment value. This has allowed the inclusion of Sepaktakraw as a sport in the Asian Games since 1990 till the latest edition in 2018,
The ISTAF SuperSeries, a series of elite tournaments designed to deliver to Sepaktakraw fans a regular pipeline of the very best the sport has to offer, was launched in Bangkok, Thailand following the 2011 ISTAF World Cup. International TV coverage and recognition of the inaugural ISTAF SuperSeries 2011/12 exceeded all expectations and proved that passion for Sepaktakraw has been ignited in all corners of the globe.

IWF - International Weightlifting Federation

The International Weightlifting Federation (IWF), founded in 1905, is a permanent non-profit organization composed of 192 affiliated National Federations worldwide, from all five Continents. The IWF, being one of the oldest International Sport Federations, is the world controlling body for weightlifting sport which was one of the first sports included already in the first Modern Olympic Games 1896, officially known as the Games of the I Olympiad. IWUF - International Wushu Federation

The International Wushu Federation (IWUF), established on October 3rd, 1990, is the international federation (IF) which governs wushu in all its forms worldwide. Wushu, which is also referred to as kungfu, is the collective term for the martial art practices which originated and developed in China. Currently, the IWUF has 149 members, across 5 continental federations worldwide. The IWUF is recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), and is also a member of both ARISF and GAISF. The IWUF is devoted to the spread and development of wushu throughout the world, to enrich people’s lives by making them healthier, both mentally and physically, and to promote friendship and understanding between all people worldwide through the spirit of sport.

Japan Sport Council

Established in 2003, the Japan Sport Council is the national agency responsible for development of sport in Japan. Managing the Sports Promotion Fund and Sports Promotion Lottery, the Japan Sport Council funds widely in both local community and elite performance sport. Total funding in FY 2017 amounted to approx. 29.7 billion JPY (approx. 280 million USD). JJIF - Ju-Jitsu International Federation

Ju-Jitsu is a martial art which dates back to 16th century Japan. Ju-Jitsu stands for “flexible art” , which is designed to defend you with a appropriate reaction to violence. From Japan it spread all the way around the world and developed as sport, violence prevention and modern self-defense. Due to the initiative of the European Union in 1987, an international governing body, the Ju-Jitsu International Federation (JJIF) was established. JJIF is not representing a specific style of Ju-Jitsu but providing for a sportive competition. The JJIF currently contemplates three different types of competitions at world level: the Duo System (Technical competition), the Fighting System (Sportive and safe MMA) and Ne-Waza (known as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as well).

WAKO - World Association of Kickboxing Organizations

WAKO (World Association of Kickboxing Organizations) is the World governing body responsible for creating, interpreting, managing, coordinating, improving, organizing and realizing activities concerning Kickboxing sport in all the five Continents. It is an association of 126 national kickboxing organizations, recognized by the relevant Government Sports Authorities or National Olympic Committee. WAKO ensures its development in-line with the Olympic Movement. World O-Sport Federation

World O-Sport Federation (WOF) founded 15th December 2005 in Hamedan city in accordance to the amateur goals of sport. It consists of various competition disciplines equally for both men and women which have become popular in many countries.

The multi-skilled technical structure of O-Sport is formed of: Persian arts and games, such as Dooz, Slingshot, Ley ley, swimming and traditional Martial Arts of Persian tribes. During a process of deep studies and modernization, these Games have become the industry of sport. These sports include Aqua O-Sport, Mind O-Sport and Combat O-Sport.

- Aqua O-Sport (is the combination shooting with Slingshot, crossing the obstacles and swimming in the fastest possible time in pools and seas).

- Mind O-Sport (is the combination of mind skills with geometric equations in order to link 3 people or stone in intersecting lines on a 24-dot screen in three types of Groups and physical skills, rhythmic and balanced movements which is done as group with music and instruments).

- Combat O-Sport (is combination of shooting with Slingshot, free running and crossing the obstacles with acrobatic movements in the fastest possible time and finally fighting on the competition platform or Ring in order to showcase combat capabilities of athletes).
