Dr Elliott has worked in high performance sport for 25yrs, attended 10 Olympic summer and winter Games and Commonwealth Games since 2003 as senior clinician and leader. He has an interest in illness prevention as well as a passion for team building, high performing healthcare teams in sporting environments and a desire to create a more collaborative sporting healthcare community. As Head of Sports Medicine for the national agency for sport in Scotland, he has been involved in the creation and delivery of sports concussion guidelines for all sports in Scotland as well as supporting other key initiatives around athlete mental health, female athlete support and promoting a clean sport agenda to sports governing bodies and athletes.
