SportAccord renews its long-standing partnership with Explore Edmonton for the IF Forum 2025, reinforcing a mutual focus on strategic collaboration, delivery excellence, and meaningful legacy in international sport. As the official Destination Marketing and Management Organisation for Alberta’s capital, Explore Edmonton brings proven expertise in major events. Its Sport & Culture team supports more than 50 sporting events annually, helping position the city as a standout host for International Federations seeking both operational excellence and authentic engagement.
“We need to be front and centre with International Federations to ensure they understand the value and appeal in partnering with us,” said Cindy Medynski, Director of Sport & Culture Events. “Our goal is to support events that enhance the wellbeing of our citizens and leave a lasting impression.”
As a returning partner of the IF Forum, Explore Edmonton joins sport leaders to forge partnerships that lead to transformative, legacy-driven events. For the International Federations, the value lies in Edmonton’s ability to deliver not only economic impact, but also meaningful community engagement and lasting impressions. This is an ideal combination for organisations seeking a distinctive venue.
SportAccord is proud to continue this collaboration alongside its other official partners, including Marsh, Sport Event Denmark, and Dawson Andrews. Together, these organisations support the international sport community through shared expertise, strategic insight, and a commitment to long-term impact.
