SportAccord is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the SportAccord Convention 2026, taking place from 24 to 28 May 2026 in Baku, Azerbaijan. The Convention will once again bring together International Federations, major event hosts, cities and regions, partners, rights holders and key stakeholders from across the global sports ecosystem for a week of meetings, exhibition, conference sessions and high-level networking.
Registration for delegates is now available through the official SportAccord platform. An early bird rate of CHF 1,500 is available until 31 January 2026, offering a preferential opportunity to secure attendance at the most important gathering for the international sport and event community. Delegates are encouraged to register early to benefit from this reduced rate.
The Convention will convene the International Federations, IOC representatives, host cities and senior industry leaders in Baku, giving delegates an unparalleled platform to connect, exchange and advance their work. Delegates can expect high value networking, a vibrant exhibition showcasing cities, regions and companies from around the world and a multi-day conference programme shaped around the priorities of the international sports community.
Full programme details, including sessions, speakers and side events, will be announced early next year.
Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, will welcome the international sports community to a vibrant and modern destination on the shores of the Caspian Sea. Delegates will have the opportunity to experience the city’s distinctive mix of contemporary architecture, cultural heritage and hospitality as part of their participation in the event.
SportAccord President, Prof Dr Uğur Erdener said: “Opening registration marks an important milestone on the road to Baku. SportAccord Convention 2026 will bring the International Federations and the wider sports community together in a setting that supports meaningful dialogue, collaboration and progress.
