In Australia, Nine Network's total viewership for London 2012 topped the Beijing Games even though the Asian time zone was friendlier in 2008. Nine had an average audience of 1.616 million in evening timeslots for London coverage 

US network NBC's 17.5 rating in primetime during the 2012 Games equalled the 1988 Seoul Olympics as the highest-rated Summer Games outside the USA. NBC averaged 31.1 million viewers in primetime over 17 nights, the best figure for a Summer Olympics outside the USA since the 1976 Montreal Olympics 

In Canada, the Closing Ceremony was watched on average by 7.5 million viewers on CTV, more than three times higher than for the finale of the previous European time-zone Games in Athens in 2004 ... BBC's peak audience of 20 million for the men's 100 metres final was nearly three times bigger than for the best for its Beijing 2008 coverage 

German network ZDF doubled its average audience from Beijing levels 

During the Opening Ceremony, France 2 enjoyed a 27.5% market share, its best level for seven years 

Spain's RTVE scored a 47.2% market share with 5.68 million viewers for the men's basketball final between Spain and the USA.

Members of the European Broadcasting Union, always represented at SportAccord Convention, were responsible for a huge volume of production during the London 2012 Games, working closely with the international federations. The EBU production line-up was as follows: 

o BBC (UK): Boxing, Rowing, Canoe/Kayak - sprint, Tennis, Football
o ERT (Greece): Weightlifting
o NOS (Netherlands): Cycling - road race/time trial, Athletics walks / marathon 
o STV (Slovakia): Hockey
o SVT (Sweden): Athletics - jumps
o TVE (Spain): Canoe/Kayak slalom, Triathlon, Marathon, Aquatics - swimming
o VRT (Belgium): Cycling - BMX / track / mountain bike
o YLE (Finland): Opening and Closing Ceremonies, Athletics - integrated / track / throws

SportAccord Convention has also regularly welcomed the host broadcaster of the Games, Olympic Broadcasting Services, which produced Aquatics - swimming / diving / synchronised swimming / water polo, Modern Pentathlon - swimming, Basketball, Equestrian, Fencing, Handball, Sailing, Shooting. Volleyball - beach, Wrestling.
