Lausanne – celebrating 30 years as the \u2018Olympic Capital<\/a>\u2019 – is throwing open its doors once again as host to SportAccord\u2019s IF Forum<\/strong>, the annual in-person, invitation-only event \u2018for the IFs, by the IFs\u2019.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The IF Forum 2024 <\/strong>will be held from 21 to 23 October at the Olympic Museum<\/a> – the world\u2019s largest and most complete collection of Olympic heritage – with its stunning location on the shores of Lac L\u00e9man and Alps as the backdrop.<\/p>\n

Special significance<\/strong><\/p>\n

“As Lausanne celebrates 30 years as Olympic Capital, hosting the IF Forum 2024 takes on special significance,\u201d explained S\u00e9bastien Griesmar, Director, Lausanne Olympic Capital Foundation, which drives forward the Olympic Capital brand.<\/p>\n

Lausanne is home to the International Olympic Committee<\/a> since 1915, to a dynamic network of international sports federations as well as numerous research institutions, universities and innovative businesses focusing on sports.<\/p>\n

\u201cHosting this year\u2019s IF Forum is testament to our commitment to shaping the future of sport alongside the 60 International Federations now based here.\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

IF Forum 2024 – \u2018match fit and future ready\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

The IF Forum 2024 \u2018Ensuring your IF is match fit and future-ready\u2019<\/a> – with AI, complex stakeholder demands and athlete health among the hot topics – is set to be a fascinating 3-day event for over 300 attendees from International Sport Federations, high profile guest speakers and exclusive IF Forum partners.<\/p>\n

Christelle Luisier Brodard, President of the State of Vaud, will be delivering a welcome on Monday 21 October, the opening day of the Forum.<\/p>\n
