Ugo Valensi

Ugo Valensi is Chief Executive Officer of Volleyball World, appointed to the role in August 2025.

Valensi brings extensive leadership experience from across the international sports industry. Prior to joining Volleyball World, he served as Executive Director of Grand Slam Tennis, where he helped strengthen collaboration across the four Grand Slam tournaments and led major cross-sport commercial initiatives, including the landmark Netflix Break Point documentary series. Earlier in his career, he was Chief Executive Officer of Sportfive, a global sports marketing agency.

Valensi holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Master of Engineering from Centrale Lille. He has worked across Europe and multiple international markets throughout his career. As CEO of Volleyball World, he leads the commercial strategy and plays a central role in accelerating the global growth and visibility of volleyball.
