Michael Mronz

Michael Mronz is an IOC Member and German sports business and events executive with more than three decades of experience in major events, marketing and commercial strategy.

He has served as Managing Partner of Aachener Reitturnier GmbH, responsible for the marketing of CHIO Aachen, and has held senior roles across major international events including the 2006 FEI World Equestrian Games and the 2009 World Athletics Championships in Berlin. He is also the founder of MMP Event and has advised and delivered projects across tennis, athletics and other sports.

Mronz was elected as an IOC Member in 2023 and currently chairs the IOC Technology and Technical Innovation Commission.
