Jon Wyatt

Jon was appointed Secretary General of World Triathlon in August 2025 with a remit to deliver against a strategy of opening up the Federation by partnering with private organisations to grow participation and to simplify competition structures. Previously, he spent 7 years with the International Hockey Federation (FIH), initially as Sport Director and progressing to be the Interim Senior Director in 2024/25. 

A double Olympian (Atlanta 1996 and Sydney 2000 as captain) for Great Britain in Hockey, after retiring from the international team in 2002, Jon worked within sports marketing agencies in London for 15 years. He became the Managing Director of sports business leaders Fast Track, within the CSM group, (now Wasserman), advising brands on sports sponsorship and how to achieve their business objectives through their association with sport.
