
Heike Grösswang
Heike Groesswang is President of the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (IBSF), having been elected in 2026 as the organisation’s first female President. She previously served as IBSF Secretary General from 2012, following her appointment as Executive Director in 2010.
With more than 25 years’ experience in bobsleigh and skeleton, her career has spanned sports marketing, athlete and race management, governance and international sports administration.
Groesswang has held a number of roles across the international sports movement, including membership of several International Olympic Committee working groups and commissions, the ASOIF Diversity and Gender Equality Commission and the WADA Foundation Board. She also served as Secretary General of the Winter Olympic Federations from 2020 to 2023.
Throughout her career, she has worked extensively across the Olympic Movement and with international sports stakeholders, with a particular focus on governance, cooperation and the development of winter sport.
