Heike Grösswang

Heike Groesswang has served as President of the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (IBSF) since June 2016, a role she holds alongside that of Secretary General, which she has held since 2012. Based in Lausanne, Switzerland, she brings over 25 years of leadership experience in strategic management, governance, and international cooperation.

As Secretary General, she built IBSF’s professional office structure from the ground up and has overseen the implementation of the Executive Board’s and Congress’s goals and directives, while supporting the Federation’s alignment with the Olympic Movement’s broader objectives.

Heike is recognized for her skill in coordinating complex stakeholder relationships, leading high-level negotiations, and developing organizational structures and processes, combined with strong diplomatic instincts, clear communication, and resilience in demanding environments.
