Petra Sörling

Petra Sörling has served as President of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) since 2021, becoming the first woman to lead the federation. She was re-elected in 2025 for a second term through 2029.

She was elected as an IOC Member in 2023, becoming the first serving ITTF President to join the IOC, and is a member of several IOC commissions.

Sörling also serves as President of the ITTF Foundation, sits on the WADA Foundation Board and is a member of the ASOIF Council and SportAccord Executive Committee.

A former President of the Swedish Table Tennis Association, she has extensive professional experience outside sport, including more than 25 years in senior roles in the real estate and urban planning sectors. She holds a BSc in Business and Administration from Lund University.

Sörling is also an accomplished table tennis player and won a World Masters title in women’s doubles in 2018.
