Sports ETA (Sports Events and Tourism Association) is the non-profit trade association representing the sports events and tourism industry in the United States. Founded in 1992, it brings together sports commissions, destination organisations, event owners and industry partners. Its network comprises more than 800 member organisations and 2,400 sports event professionals, providing a platform for industry connections, professional development, research and the exchange of expertise across the sports tourism sector. Through its events, research and industry programmes, Sports ETA supports destinations and rights holders in developing and hosting sports events and in understanding their wider economic and community impact.
