"Dream Together Project" in Korea

As part of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s ODA (Official Development Assistance) project, Dream Together offers an opportunity for developing countries to learn from Korea’s expertise and knowhow in sports it has acquired in the process of becoming one of the sporting powerhouses of the world. Dream Together consists of three programs: (1) educating sports administrators (through the Dream Together Master Program at Seoul National University), (2) educating sports coaches, and (3) training invited athletes at the Jincheon National Training Center. The Dream Together project focuses on promoting sport development through educating and supporting those in countries where sport is underdeveloped.

Ashgabat 2017 5th AIMAG Executive Committee

Ashgabat 2017 is the fifth edition of the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games which will take place in Turkmenistan from 17–27 September 2017.

Beijing organizing committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games

The Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Beijing 2022 will take place in Beijing and Zhangjiakou in 2022. FIAS - Fédération Internationale de Sambo

International SAMBO Federation (FIAS) is a non-governmental organization and the only recognized international body being in charge of SAMBO development in the world. Nowadays, 88 national SAMBO federations are affiliated to the FIAS membership and 120 countries are developing SAMBO around the world.
SAMBO is included into the program of the Asian, European and Central American Games. FIAS annually conducts numerous international events at all the continents, including the world championships, continental championships and the President’s Cups.

FISU - Fédération Internationale du Sport Universitaire

The International University Sports Federation (FISU) is responsible for the organization and governance of worldwide competitions for student-athletes between the ages of 17 and 28. It was founded in 1949 as the world governing body of national university sports organizations and currently has 170 member associations from 5 continental regions. Being the only international federation with more than 60 sports and disciplines on its competition programme, FISU stages biennial events. They include two Universiades (Winter & Summer) and 41 World University Championships. FISU permanently links the academic world with sports by hosting a number of educational events as well – conferences, forums and seminars. These events closely assist in promoting sport as one of the main components of the educational system.

Glasgow 2018 European Championships

In the summer of 2018 Europe’s top athletes will compete in the inaugural European Championships – an exciting new multi-sport event bringing together some of the continent’s leading sports.

Taking place in the summer of 2018, The first edition will be held in partnership between Glasgow and Berlin.

IFMA - International Federation of Muaythai Amateur

The International Federation of Muaythai Amateur, is the international federation for the sport of muaythai, recognised by SportAccord since 2006. IFMA has 133 member countries worldwide, and 5 continental federations operating under a unified regulatory body.

Muaythai is a martial art originating from Thailand where fighters execute strikes using 8 points of contact: fists, shins, knees and elbows.
IFMA participates in the World Games, World Combat Games, FISU World University Championship Programme, SEA Games, and holds many muaythai events including an annual World Championships. IFMA lodged its formal application for IOC recognition in December 2012 and was granted provisional recognition by the IOC on December 6th 2016.

International Wushu Federation

Established in 1990, the International Wushu Federation (IWUF) currently consists of 147 national/territorial members in 5 continents. Recognized by the IOC, the IWUF is the international federation which governs the sport of wushu worldwide. The IWUF is also a member of both ARISF and SportAccord.

IOF - International Orienteering Federation

The IOF is the global governing body for the sport of orienteering. An orienteering competitor must visit a series of checkpoints in the shortest time possible using a detailed topographical map for navigation. The IOF governs 4 disciplines, Orienteering on foot (running), Ski Orienteering, Mountainbike Orienteering and Trail Orienteering. The IOF is an IOC recognized federation since 1977 and member of SportAccord, ARISF, IWGA and IMGA and has Memorandums of Understanding with FISU, CISM and ISF. The IOF has 70 member countries and orienteering is practiced globally by people of all ages.

Japan Sport Council

Established in 2003, the Japan Sport Council is the national agency responsible for development of sport in Japan. Managing the Sports Promotion Fund and Sports Promotion Lottery, the Japan Sport Council funds widely in both local community and elite performance sport. Total funding in FY 2015 amounted to approx. 23 billion JPY (approx. 204.4 million USD). The Japan Sport Council also owns and operates major sporting facilities such as the National Stadiums, National Training Center and Japan Institute of Sports Sciences. Under the leadership of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) and Japan Sports Agency, the Japan Sport Council plays a vital role in delivery of sport policy in Japan and enhancement of sporting values in society.


The Japan Sport Tourism Alliance (JSTA) was launched in April 2012 as a general incorporated association. In keeping with the Basic Policy to Promote Sports Tourism (“Basic Policy”) announced by the Japan Tourism Agency in June of 2011, JSTA advances an activity platform structured to promote all-Japan level sports tourism as the hub of efforts to achieve energetic undertakings in the athletic and sightseeing fields over the years to come. The primary JSTA mission is to supply its networks and know-how for wide-ranging support of initiatives by entities involved in sports tourism, as well as working level managers at local public entities, aimed at tourism-fueled community development, the submission of bids and the holding of tournaments and training camps, commercialization of travel package products and other endeavors.

Malaysia Major Events (MME) is a division of Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB), an agency under the Ministry of Tourism and Culture, Malaysia (MoTAC). MME was established under the Government’s Economic Transformation Programme (ETP) to identify, promote, facilitate as well as support viable international events to be staged in Malaysia. With its main objective to enhance Malaysia’s economic growth and profile, MME is also tasked to identify and support major event bids for sports, arts, lifestyles and entertainment events and provide assistance to home-grown and home-hosted events in order to further strengthen Malaysia’s global appeal as the venue of choice for major events in the region.
