SportAccord is a sport and business convention designed to bring together the decision-makers who shape the global sport ecosystem. Rather than focusing on a single sector, the Convention convenes leaders from across sport, business, media, cities, and technology to enable meaningful exchange at the highest level.
Each year, SportAccord welcomes senior representatives from the International Olympic Committee, International Federations and rights holders, host cities and governments, media organisations and broadcasters, technology providers, and commercial partners active across the sport industry. This diversity reflects the reality of modern sport, where strategic decisions are increasingly interconnected across sectors. The Convention attracts senior leaders with direct responsibility for shaping strategy, investment, and long-term direction across the sport ecosystem.
What makes this mix distinctive is not simply who attends, but the quality of interaction it enables. Bringing these groups together in one place creates a shared space for dialogue between those who govern sport, those who invest in it, those who deliver it, and those who help it reach global audiences. These conversations rarely happen within siloed environments.
SportAccord provides a platform for informed, forward-looking discussion on the forces shaping sport today and tomorrow. By convening a broad cross-section of the sport ecosystem, the Convention encourages a deeper understanding of emerging challenges, evolving opportunities, and the strategic choices facing the industry.
The result is a unique environment for connection and exchange – where perspectives are shared, relationships are built, and the future direction of sport is explored collectively.
Participation for SportAccord 2026 is already taking shape across the global sport ecosystem. International Federations including FIFA, FIBA, ISU, FIA and JJIF have confirmed their participation, alongside senior IOC leadership, professional leagues and industry partners such as the NFL and Swiss Timing, with representation reflecting a broad geographical distribution across multiple regions.
